01 Acceptance
These terms cover redlintu16.com ("the site"), operated by a person who goes by RedLintu16, based in Helsinki, Finland. By browsing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to what's written here.
If these terms change meaningfully, the version number above ticks up and the date changes. Continuing to use the site after that counts as accepting the new version.
02 The service
This is a personal site. Depending on what's switched on at any given time, it may offer:
- A blog and public project pages, free to read.
- A store selling physical items, fulfilled by third-party print providers.
- An email newsletter you can subscribe to and leave at any time.
- Accounts, which unlock order history and other logged-in features.
Features come and go. Nothing here is a commitment to keep any particular part of the site running forever.
03 Your account
You can register with an email and password, or sign in with Google or GitHub. Either way:
- You must be 16 or older. This site isn't directed at children.
- Give accurate details. Orders ship to the address you provide.
- Your password and your sign-in provider account are your responsibility. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is in your account.
- One person, one account. Don't share logins or register on someone else's behalf.
You can delete your account at any time — see the privacy policy for exactly what's removed and what has to be retained for tax records. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 04, and will say why unless doing so would make the abuse worse.
04 Acceptable use
Don't do these things:
- Break the law, or use the site to harm, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone.
- Upload malware, or try to gain access to accounts, servers or data that aren't yours.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or hammer the site with automated traffic. Rate limits exist and are enforced.
- Probe, disrupt or stress-test anything without written permission.
- Resell or commercially redistribute site content without permission.
Abuse gets blocked, sometimes at the network level and without warning.
05 Orders & payment

Occasionally a price or stock state is simply wrong. If that happens on an order you've placed, we'll contact you and either honour it or cancel and refund you in full — your choice. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; once a parcel is with the carrier, its timing is out of our hands.
06 Returns & refunds
If you're a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order. You don't need a reason. Email us within that window and return the item unused and in its original condition, and you get your money back — including standard outbound shipping — within 14 days of us receiving it. Return postage is yours to cover unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
If something arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, tell us within 30 days with a photo and we'll replace it or refund it at no cost to you. Made-to-order items can't be resold, so we ask that you check sizing before ordering — but that never overrides your statutory rights.
07 Content & ownership
Our content. The writing, design, code, artwork and music on this site belong to RedLintu16 unless stated otherwise. Read it, link to it, quote it with credit. Don't republish it wholesale or sell it. Open-source projects are governed by whatever licence ships in their repository — that licence wins over this paragraph.
Your content. Anything you post or upload stays yours. You grant permission to store and display it on the site so the feature you used can work. You're responsible for having the right to post it, and we may remove content that breaks section 04.
08 Availability
This site is run by one person on modest hardware. It's provided as is, with no uptime guarantee. Things go down, features get rewritten, URLs occasionally move. Nothing here is a service-level agreement, and no refund is owed for downtime on the free parts of the site.
09 Liability
To the extent the law allows, RedLintu16 isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost data, or knock-on costs — arising from your use of the site. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid for the order the claim relates to.
None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that can't legally be capped.
10 Governing law
These terms are governed by Finnish law, and disputes belong to the Finnish courts. If you're a consumer, you keep the protections of your own country's law and can take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
If any single clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
